  1. What to do in the Case of A Major Accident

In the case of a major industrial accident despite all the precautions taken, we apply the Internal Emergency Plan within the scope of the relevant regulation in order to make the first interventions to the related accident and to mitigate the possible effects. Within the scope of the Internal Emergency Plan we have prepared, we have formed the service groups (Fire Service Group, Health Services Group, Search and Rescue Service Group etc.)

SECTION 2

  1. Major Industrial Accidents That may Occur in Our Production Plants

Our organization acts in accordance with the Regulation on Control of Major Accidents Hazards Involving Dangerous Substances and Mitigation of Their Effects at all stages from production to storage. In our organization, major accident scenarios that may result in fire and explosion due to methanol, acetaldehyde, formic acid and diesel chemicals; toxic release due to formaldehyde, methanol and formic acid chemicals; and environmental pollution due to diesel fuel have been studied. In Major Industrial accidents that may result in toxic release, exposure may result in eye, nose, throat irritation, shortness of breath, chest pain, pulmonary edema, and adverse effects on the eyes, skin, and respiratory system.

  1. Studies to Cope with Major Industrial Accidents and to Mitigate Their Effects.

With all technical and organizational precautions listed below taken, the probability of occurrence of all major industrial accidents which have been put into  scenarios, has been reduced below the acceptable level

Technical precautions

  • Certified process control equipments.
